TabTrade, a new forex and CFD broker, is entering the retail market with an offer that focuses on trading costs and execution performance. The broker states that average spreads on major currency pairs are 0.0 pips, which it uses as its primary reference point for trading conditions.
The company operates through TabTrade Ltd (company number 2025-00919) and was founded by Benjamin Boulter, a fintech entrepreneur. Three account tiers are available at launch: Standard, Edge, and VIP. The Edge account is positioned as the main trading option and targets execution speeds below 30 milliseconds on MetaTrader 5. The VIP account is designed for high-volume traders and delivers execution targets below 20 milliseconds.
Boulter noted that execution speed has become a more closely observed variable among a segment of retail traders:
“Execution performance has become an increasingly discussed metric among traders running scalping strategies and automated systems,” Boulter said. “In those environments, delays of even a few milliseconds can influence fill quality, particularly during high-volatility sessions.”
TabTrade’s infrastructure connects to Equinix LD4 and LD5 data centres in London, which are used by a range of institutional trading firms due to their proximity to liquidity providers. The broker also offers FIX API connectivity for traders who wish to connect algorithmic strategies directly to its execution environment.
MetaTrader 5 is currently the available trading platform. The company has indicated that TradingView and cTrader integrations are planned for a later stage.
TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Saint Lucia. Client funds are held in segregated accounts with the company’s banking partners. Further licence applications are stated to be in progress.
